CORRECTIONS
Trust depends on being able to change a verdict when the evidence changes.
If we get something wrong
Material factual errors should be corrected promptly. The correction should say what changed and why rather than quietly replacing the original claim.
If new evidence appears
A check may move from Unverified to another verdict, or a confidence level may change. The page should make the update visible and retain the date of the new review.
Small edits
Typos, formatting and wording changes that do not alter the factual conclusion do not require a correction note.
The standard: never defend an old verdict just because it is ours. Follow the evidence.
